Belgard is proud to announce that it has developed an Authorized Contractor Program. The program is designed to help promote and thank the loyal contractors that promote the Belgard Hardscape Product Line.

Belgard has developed some qualifications that a contractor must meet prior to becoming a Belgard Authorized Contractor. Belgard created these qualifications so that the contractors who become Belgard Authorized Contractors will be able to use this Authorized Program as a selling tool with the customer.

Belgard has developed an Authorized Program for Paving Stones and Segmental Retaining Walls. You can become authorized in Paving Stones and/or Segmental Retaining Walls.

Belgard Authorized Contractor Program Qualifications – Paving Stones

1. Must be ICPI Certified
2. Belgard representative must inspect paving stone project that has been installed for a minimum of (1) year
3. Belgard representative must visit a project under construction to verify that proper ICPI installation practices have been followed
4. Must meet two of the following three criteria to be eligible for BAC participation
1. Installation of 15,000 square feet of pavers
2. Installation of two vehicular applications
3. Installation of 10 paver projects

Belgard Authorized Contractor Program Qualifications – Segmental Retaining Walls

1. Must be NCMA/SRW certified
2. Belgard representative must inspect retaining wall project that has been installed for a minimum of (1) year
3. Belgard representative must visit a project under construction to verify that proper NCMA installation practices have been followed
4. Must meet two of the following four criteria to be eligible for BAC participation
1. Installation of 2500 square feet of retaining walls
2. Installation of one reinforced residential application
3. Installation of two commercial retaining wall projects
4. Installation of five residential retaining wall projects

Belgard Authorized Contractor Program Qualifications – General

1. Must provide proof of insurance
2. Must provide proof of home improvement or local state license certificates
3. Must guarantee workmanship for a minimum of two (2) years
4. Must participate and complete yearly ongoing continuing educational programs offered at Belgard Universities, dealer locations & on-line forums
5. Belgard representative must complete yearly inspections of contractor’s workmanship
6. Must be recommended by local Authorized Belgard dealer and demonstrate acceptable credit standing
7. Must promote the Belgard Hardscapes Product Line.

The Belgard Authorized Contractor Program is an excellent selling tool when on a sales tool. To help promote your business and a Thank You from Belgard, below is a list of what each Authorized Contractor will receive in the mail.

Fishers, New York – In an effort to increase Belgard’s Contractor Base, Belgard is proud to announce the “Go for the Gold” Program. The key to the program is to find and recruit new talent and existing contractors into the Belgard business. The “Go for the Gold” Program allows us to build loyalty and track their progress.

Each step will result in a mailing to the contractor congratulating them on their progress and for using Belgard product. Here are the different levels along with what each level consists of.

Bronze Level

• Occurs after their first project with Belgard.
• The contractor receives their first thank you package which consists of:
• Belgard T-Shirt & Hat
• Dealer who sold the product receives a thank you letter.

Silver Level

• Occurs after the completion of projects 2 through 6 with Belgard product.
• The contractor receives their second thank you letter and package that consists of:

Gold Level

• Occurs after completion of projects 7 through 10 with Belgard product.
• The contractor receives a thank you letter, a description of the Belgard Authorized Contractor Program, and a package that consists of:

Cohoes, New York – This will be a new section of the Domine Bee each month.

This month we are featuring Troy’s Landscape Supply in Cohoes, New York. Troy’s recently added this display to their front entrance way which includes an outdoor grill area created out of Keystone Stonegate and an outdoor fireplace made out of Dublin Cobble, Rockcliffe 16x16 Slab, and Marina. The display also includes Mega-Arbel, Mega-Bergerac, Bergerac Modular, and the new Saddle Brown color in the Dublin Series.

Albany, New York – As soon as Mega-Arbel was available, several projects across New York State were in need of product. Mega-Arbel is currently on the ground in all three colors: Melbourne Grey, Richmond Grey, and Danville Beige. Most contractors that have used it love the fact the each piece is approximately 1.5 square feet.
